Fabulous Festival Theatre The Festival Theatre at Hever Castle will welcome audiences back to the Two Sisters' Theatre with a season of exceptional performances beginning in early May 2026. From acclaimed drama and world-class music to intimate concerts and family favourites, the programme promises a huge season of events for everyone.
We can't wait to invite you to join us as we create unique, memorable experiences in our enchanting settings on the Hever Castle and Gardens estate. The season takes place once again until the end of the year. Further hand-picked, bespoke events are taking place at Chiddingstone Castle and Penshurst Place and Gardens, extending our season across these historic and atmospheric venues.
The Chichester Festival theatre 'Festival 2026 features no fewer than eight world premieres, as well as it's eagerly anticipated summer musical and Shakespeare's most popular comedy. In the Festival Theatre are five shows with spectacle and theatricality at their very heart, including Chichester's first ever production of My Fair Lady. In the intimate Minerva, five new plays explore family and our place in the world on a very human level. All ask searching questions about ourselves and our society, while often making us laugh too. They'll be brought to life by a superb group of directors, designers and actors. In partnership with the RSC, Singapore Repertory Theatre and Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, and Roald Dahl Story Company on The BFG; and with Theatr Clwyd and Orange Tree Theatre on later productions this season.
'Our new studio space The Nest, which opened in 2025, has brought something utterly different and unique to Chichester's nightlife, with a constantly refreshed programme. December brings a welcome second chance to see the enchanting Hey! Christmas Tree, and our brilliant Youth Theatre with a sparkling musical version of Peter Pan.' For over 70 years, The Pitlochry Festival theatre has been the artistic heart and soul of Highland Perthshire. Perched on the edge of the River Tummel with glorious views out to Ben-y-Vrackie, the spectacular 'Speckled Mountain', famous for producing large-scale plays and musicals to delight theatregoers of all ages. Pitlochry Festival Theatre's Artistic Director, Alan Cumming has announced his highly anticipated inaugural season of exciting programming for 2026, which will coincide with the 75th anniversary of the celebrated Scottish Highland Theatre.
The Season 2026 will feature a programme of creatively bold and inventive productions, featuring amongst others, world premières, Scottish and UK premières, revivals of musicals and plays, a visiting production and two exciting festivals. Throughout the season, the Theatre will welcome an incredible line up of Scottish, British and internationally renowned award-winning talent to the Scottish Highlands for what promises to be a theatrical highlight for Scotland in 2026.
